Susan Higgins

Susan’s colourful art glass portrays natural themes using the ancient technique of fused glass. Glasses are cut, composed in layers and melted together in a kiln to create imaginative effects in original bowls, platters and window panels.

Susan began exploring the craft of stained glass as a hobby in 1979. Discovering she had a deeper interest in art, she studied drawing, painting and design at the Ontario College of Art and Design. Continuing a glass career established in Toronto, Susan now lives and works near Huntsville in north Muskoka.
