Brad Copping
Brad Copping is an artist and glass blower working from his home on the edge of the Canadian Shield, near Apsley, Ontario.  His sculpture is included in the collections of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, the Speed Museum and the Fine Art Collection of the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade.  His functional blown glasswork can be found in the permanent collections of the Royal Ontario Museum, the Design Exchange, and the Claridge Collection.  His work has been acknowledged as part of Corning Museum’s New Glass Review on 6 separate occasions and he has received much appreciated support from both the Canada Council for the Arts and the Ontario Arts Council for the creation of his work.  Copping has recently taken on the Presidency of the Glass Art Association of Canada and his next solo sculpture exhibition will be held in March, 2009 at XEXE Gallery in Toronto.
White Dog Studio is home to glass artists Brad Copping and Susan Rankin.
Brad will be giving glass blowing demonstrations hourly throughout the weekend, and Susan will greet you in the gallery.
In the gardens around the studio, guest artist Clare Scott-Taggart,  aka Rusty
Girl, will be showing her metalworked garden accessories and sculpture.
There is always something new and exciting to see at White Dog Studio, 3.5 km down Jack Lake Rd. on the left hand side.
