Kathy Kranias
Kathy is a ceramic artist who creates sculptures, wall pieces and plates. She has been making ceramics for 15 years, exploring the inherent beauty of earthenware clay and its creative possibilities for colours and surfaces. Her imagery is drawn from the figure, the flora and fauna of the Kawarthas and the narratives of ancient Greek mythology. There is always an exciting range of ceramics to see at her studio.
Recently Kathy has had solo exhibitions at The Art Gallery of Peterborough and David Kaye Gallery in Toronto. She has exhibited her ceramics in group exhibitions in France, the United States and Canada, where her work is held in numerous private collections.
