Begin and end the tour where you like. Our Autumn Studio Tour is always the third weekend in September and is free. Organized by the participating artists. Brochures are available at most local businesses, Tourist Kiosks throughout the area and from each artist. You can print pertinent INFORMATION from this web page.
Whether you enjoy traditional, avant-garde, functional, homey, whimsical or natural creations; you will find an artistic treasure to satisfy your tastes.Our local restaurants offer snacks as well as high quality lunches and dinners. Our area has so much to see you might consider staying overnight at one of the many area accommodations.
The friendliness of the people will keep you returning again and again throughout the year. The outstanding quality of the artists' and artisans' work is excellent. This is one tour which will not dissappoint you on any level. Return home renewed, with all of your senses stimulated and a wonderful treasure or two which to enjoy through the years ahead!
The Apsley Studio Tour's artists are juried. thus we feature artists in many diverse mediums who create exciting artwork for your enjoyment. Their studios are tucked away in beautiful scenic locations. Each year our members present new and exciting works of art specifically created for the tour. A fantastic opportunity to meet all of our local North Kawartha artists in person. Come for the weekend! Who knows what treasures you will find as you also enjoy the stimulating fall colour throughout our local scenic countryside.
